A non-sewing related make but I really love the results. My friend Katie gave me this beautiful owl bead a few years ago and since then it has sat in my purse waiting to be made into something. I then spotted these DIY Bracelets on Pinterest. Its taken me a few weeks to get round to making them, not least because I initially ordered the wrong chain, but an impromptu trip to Beadworks in Covent Garden yesterday meant I could finally put the bead to good use.
